Combining Sony’s industry leading Real-time Tracking AF with an all-new AI processing unit, unprecedented AF speed and accuracy is now achievable, while unlocking a new suite of subject and object recognition. The AI processing unit in the Alpha 6700 utilises deep learning AI to process immense volumes of image data, delivering breathtaking results. For Human autofocus recognition, AF acquisition has been dramatically increased through AI with “human pose estimation”, using more than just face and eyes for detection, delivering accurate autofocus even if the subject is wearing sunglasses, a motorbike helmet, or is even facing away from the camera.
AF Subject Recognition has also expanded to include Insects, Airplanes, Cars/Trains, in addition to Human, Animal and Birds for both Stills and Movie mode.
